The FFP3 mask protects the wearer against the inhalation of both droplets and particles with a particulate filtering level of at least 99% and inward leakage of less than 2%.
It is recommended for use in areas of medium-high risk (personal care, chemical handling, food processing etc).
Because of the mask’s tightness on the face, there can be implications for wearer wellbeing in situations of prolonged use. Therefore, risk assessments should be carried out on potential users, taking into account existing conditions such as asthma, COPD, etc.
