Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Is the bike for hire or sale?
A. Both options are available, including all the additional items needed to deliver an enjoyable and memorable experience.
Hire by the half day, day, evening, or longer.
We recommend hiring with one of our event hosts who will deliver the experience to achieve maximum enjoyment for your guests.
You can also hire without the host in which case we can provide an induction and guide to ensure you have a great experience.
For purchase enquiries, including franchising, please contact us on email@example.com
Q. How is the experience delivered?
A. We bring the bike and everything needed to ensure your guests have a great time. And depending on the setting the event host will use a range of fun activities, games, lessons.
For example, we have a Tour de France type contest which allows guests to do a speed trial on the bike while they are making their drink. We can set it up to reflect your organisation name (see example) and run it as an individual or team contest - with award certificates and medals.
Q. Can I choose which drinks are included?
A. Yes indeed, we can discuss this with you in advance. Depending on the setting, we can provide smoothies, shakes, juices, ice cream drinks, mocktails, cocktails (over 18's only).
Generally, we provide a set menu option which includes: Strawberry and Banana, Pineapple and Coconut, and Blueberry and Vanilla.
Our smoothie drinks use semi-skimmed milk, but can be substituted by juice for dairy free requirements.
Drinks recipes are subject to fresh fruit availability and will be agreed with you in advance.
Q. How long does it take to make a drink on the bike?
A. Riders can be on and off the bike with their refreshing fresh fruit juice, smoothie or shake in under a minute, so lots of people can enjoy it in one session.
Q. How many people can participate?
A. This really depends on the setting and guest demographic.
For your guidance, in a full day approx 150 guests can enjoy the Fun and Fit Bike Experience when a two-bike set up is used.
Q. What are the safety standards?
A. The Fun and Fit Bike is manufactured in the UK to British standards and is operated using proven safety procedures - including safe handling and preparation of ingredients - that ensure the enjoyment and safety of all users. The operators also have in place the appropriate public liability insurance.
